In Abundance Kimbie employs the elements of the Pop Art movement: repetition and pattern, to explore the juxtaposition between the quiet traditionalism of classical Western art icons and the modern packaged ideas of Western mythology.
Symbolically, "abundance" transcends material wealth to represent continuous growth, spiritual fulfillment, and the "flow" of life's blessings, focusing on connection and alignment.
The West, in this series, exists in tension between nostalgia and modernity, solitude and mass culture. Yet beneath these layers, there remains something constant: a quiet call to reconnect—with nature, with rhythm, with the present moment.
